Titan Flow Control 2 1/2 in. Flange End White Ductile Iron “Y” Wye Strainer Description
Titan Flow Control’s Wye Strainers trap and remove unwanted foreign debris and contaminants from pipelines to protect equipment downstream such as pumps, meters, spray nozzles, compressors and turbines. These strainers provide excellent open area ratios and are tested and UL listed at rated flow rates and pressure losses. They can be placed in a horizontal or vertical pipeline as long as the screen is in a downward position. These wye strainers are suitable for potable water and food contact applications, and are provided with an NSF approved coating on interior and exterior.
Titan’s YS58N & YS58U are designed using flat face flanges compatible with ASME B16.1 cast iron class 125, ASME B16.5 Steel Class 150, and ASME B16.42 Class 150 flange patterns. These strainers feature durable heavy wall ductile iron construction to provide high strength and long service life.
