The self-testing static grounding clamp with battery powered wall-mounted monitoring module.
The innovative design of the Bond-Rite REMOTE provides enhanced safety and security by continuously testing the connection of the clamp to the container or other conductive item of plant in a complete loop made through the designated grounding point. It provides visual verification of this condition to the operator via a pulsing green LED located on the front of the enclosure. The clamp’s bright green LED pulses continuously when it detects the grounding circuit has a resistance of 10 ohms or less.
The Intrinsically Safe monitoring electronics, pulsing LED and battery power supply are housed inside the enclosure designed for wall mounting. The battery provides up to 6 months of power for equipment grounded for up to an average of 6 hours per day. The standard SDP enclosure is static dissipative and suitable for general processing environments. The enclosure has a IP 65 Ingress Protection level and is suitable for indoor and outdoor installation.
